End of January we went live with the whole checkpoint, with 8 lanes being utilized with stellar results. Feedback from TSA and DEN alike was of the highest order and everyone we talked to firmly considered it a success so far.
There are plans to accelerate the ramp up of operations such that the extent North checkpoint may be closed earlier which is far earlier than planned. What we as a Scarabee and Webb team achieved is a testament to all.
The DEN West checkpoint is only the beginning for our CPSS rollout but is certainly a great showcase of our joint technologies that combine to provide unapparelled performance and operational flexibility.
A few firsts that we heard that this checkpoint can lay claim to (apparently):
- Largest CAP project;
- Largest CPSS single checkpoint deployment;
- First CPSS deployment with remote screening and cross lane;
- First CPSS full-size deployment with odd size/oversize processing.
It certainly will go down as one of the more “interesting” projects, but I firmly believe it sets the new benchmark for CPSS installations. It’s a testament to our collective dedication and unwavering confidence that we not only made it but surpassed all expectations.
Thank you for your hard work and commitment to excellence.
Cheers,
