As a Mechanical Engineer at Scarabee, you’ll design, implement, maintain, and optimize various technical solutions. We’re also seeking team players to support our technicians from our headquarters in Hoofddorp.
Your Responsiblities:
- Designing, developing, and implementing new technological concepts
- Maintaining and optimizing existing systems
- Collaborating with various departments, including engineering, sales, and marketing
- Ensuring project implementation and delivery of innovative solutions
- Addressing technical questions from customers and teams worldwide
- Analyzing customer needs and market trends to improve our products
- Coordinating system changes and testing new updates
Tasks:
You will be part of a multidisciplinary product team focused on the continuous development of SAG products. You’ll collaborate with the Software and Electrical departments and be responsible for the mechanical aspects.
- Drafting functional and technical specifications for mechanical tasks
- Conceptualizing new functionalities
- Creating and refining models and drawings in SolidWorks
- Developing manuals
- Supporting other departments in projects, both within and outside the Netherlands
Who are you?
- You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (HBO or WO)
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
- You are result-oriented, analytically strong, and possess excellent communication skills
- Fluent Dutch is a plus (understanding is sufficient)
- You are innovative, flexible, and able to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment
- Affinity with technological innovations in the aviation sector is a plus
