Scarabee develops and supplies innovative systems, such as security checkpoints, passenger flow management systems, and baggage handling solutions, for leading airports. As a Logistics Employee, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods from receipt to delivery. You ensure that all materials are available at the right time and place, ensuring our projects run smoothly. Additionally, you will handle various administrative tasks that contribute to an efficient logistics operation. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive colleague to strengthen our logistics team at our headquarters in Hoofddorp.

Working hours:
You will work weekdays during regular office hours (no weekend shifts).

Your Responsibilities:

  • Ensure smooth handling of both incoming and outgoing goods.
  • Maintain inventory and conduct stock counts, including processing in our ERP system.
  • Ship and issue goods based on work orders.
  • Regularly use a forklift to move goods (forklift certificate required).
  • Occasionally deliver goods to customers or colleagues at Schiphol using the company vehicle (driver’s license B required).

Tasks:

  • Inspect and accept incoming and outgoing goods, performing additional checks when necessary.
  • Store and register goods in racks and storage spaces.
  • Move, load, and unload goods using a forklift, hoisting equipment, and pallet trucks.
  • Occasionally deliver goods.
  • Arrange and monitor international transport.
  • Count, label, and configure goods.
  • Create commercial invoices and necessary customs documents.
  • Process administrative transactions in the ERP system, including inventory tracking, data entry, and reporting.

Who Are You?

  • A completed MBO level 4 education in logistics.
  • In possession of a forklift certificate or willing to obtain one shortly after employment.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar logistics role.
  • Experience with MS Office.
  • Good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.
  • In possession of a driver’s license B.
  • English proficiency is a plus.
  • Experience with ERP systems (preferably Exact Globe) is a plus.
  • You are proactive, quality-oriented, and work accurately.
  • A motivated team player who tackles and solves challenges.
