Join Us as an Electrical Engineer in the Dynamic World of Airports!
Are you ready to grow with us at Scarabee? As an Electrical Engineer, you’ll be part of a team of about five in the Engineering department. This department encompasses Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Project Engineering. You will work closely with Mechanical and Project Engineers, and collaborate extensively with the Software and Service & Maintenance departments. Together, you’ll design, maintain, and modify our high-end products, handle new products, seek solutions to challenges, and update our products worldwide.
Your Responsibilities:
As an Electrical Engineer, you’ll play a challenging and crucial role in product development. This includes:
- Designing, proposing, and developing new solutions/systems for products
- Performing electrical calculations
- Designing control cabinets
- Updating and maintaining databases
- Compiling the electronic drawing package based on layout drawings and functional specifications
- Standardizing electrical drawings
- Keeping databases up to date with the latest revisions
- Working in accordance with the latest applicable standards
Key Activities:
- Drafting functional and technical specifications for electrical work
- Writing manuals for new and existing products based on new designs or modifications
- Electrically designing the systems and machines to be delivered
- Compiling the functional specification of the electrical drawing package independently from the layout drawing
- Researching (international) NEN, ISO, and UL laws and regulations
- Preparing projects for execution
Who You Are:
- MBO+/HBO degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experience with E-plan and project-based work
- Strong analytical and solution-oriented approach
- Proficient in Dutch and English
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- A team player who can also work independently
- Quick to adapt and able to align individual and team interests
- Experienced in preparatory work
- Eager to learn and willing to fully master complex processes
- Driven, structured, creative, and versatile
