To further strengthen our growth and service-oriented approach, we are looking for a driven Director After Sales & Services.

Your Challenge

As Director After Sales & Services, you will be responsible for the strategic development and international expansion of our after-sales and service activities. You will ensure that our customers always receive the best service and innovative solutions. You will lead a team of over 50 professionals and collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop a scalable, profitable, and future-proof service portfolio.

Your Responsibilities

  • Strategic Development & International Growth: Develop a forward-looking after-sales and service strategy aligned with business objectives and capitalize on international market and innovation opportunities.
  • Service Management & Optimization: Translate strategic objectives into measurable KPIs, implement continuous improvement programs, and ensure efficient resource allocation.
  • Customer-Centric Leadership: Build long-term customer relationships and optimize service contracts and customer satisfaction through proactive service approaches.
  • Innovation & Digitalization: Implement new technologies such as IoT, predictive maintenance, and AI to elevate our service processes.
  • P&L Responsibility: Ensure a strong financial performance of the after-sales & service business and develop profitable business models.
  • Leadership & Team Development: Build a strong service team, foster talent development, and create a culture of innovation and collaboration.

What You Bring

  • At least 10 years of experience in a technical after-sales, service, or operations environment, including several years in a strategic leadership role.
  • A strong technical and/or business background, such as an MSc/BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Proven experience in international service development and transformation projects.
  • Knowledge of IoT, predictive maintenance, Lean & Six Sigma, and ERP/FSM systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience with stakeholder management at an executive level.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English (German is a plus).
