Scarabee is growing in size, capacity, and expertise. The Baggage Control Systems department is responsible for Schiphol’s baggage systems. As a System Administrator, you will be part of a team of 10 people. You will provide technical expertise and contribute to maintaining and improving the critical infrastructure of our customers.
Your tasks include:
- Managing and improving IT infrastructure, applications, and network assets according to required performance standards;
- Ensuring that system functionalities continue to meet the required quality standards of the customer;
- Analyzing and resolving incidents;
- Participating in projects;
- Supervising and testing system changes.
Who are we looking for?
- You have at least a completed MBO level 4 education in a relevant IT field;
- You possess broad IT knowledge;
- You have at least three years of relevant work experience, such as managing complex IT environments or carrying out various IT projects;
- You are communicatively skilled and have excellent written and spoken Dutch and English skills;
- You have knowledge and experience with ITIL processes;
- You are willing to work in 24/7 rotating shifts;
- You have a strong sense of responsibility;
- You perform best in a high-pressure organization and understand how to prioritize tasks;
- You possess excellent analytical skills;
- You are proactive and can demonstrate this;
- You have a proactive attitude and an assertive character;
- You are eager to learn and willing to fully understand the complex processes of the customer;
- You are flexible;
- You are able to work independently and accurately;
- You can provide a Certificate of No Objection.
Experience & knowledge:
- Knowledge/experience with the following platforms: Windows Server, UNIX/Linux, VMware;
- Knowledge of IT Security;
- Knowledge of various server applications;
- Knowledge/experience with networks;
- Experience with workplaces;
- Experience with incident handling according to ITIL is a plus.
The following experience & knowledge is a plus:
- Experience with data analysis software, such as Splunk;
- Experience with test management and methodologies;
- ITIL certified;
- Knowledge/experience with AIX systems is a plus;
- Affinity with automation in logistics processes;
- VCA certificate.
