New checkpoint lanes, designed with passenger security and convenience in mind, firmly secure DEN as a center of excellence for checkpoint security innovation
Amsterdam, October 2018 – Scarabee Aviation Group has successfully installed its Smart Security Lanes at Denver International Airport (DEN) – to redefine the security experience and play a pivotal role in DEN’s transformation into a checkpoint innovation hub. The new checkpoint, in partnership with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), is operational and demonstrates the value that Scarabee Aviation Group’s Smart Security Lanes deliver to checkpoint operations and passenger experience.
“As Denver International Airport is transforming the checkpoint experience for their rapidly growing passenger base, we are proud to partner with DEN to demonstrate our innovative Automated Screening Lanes (ASLs). These lanes will support efficient airport operations and transform the security screening experience for travelers and TSA officers,” said Michael Tan, Chief Commercial Officer of Scarabee Aviation Group. “Central to the design of our innovative Automated Screening Lanes is passenger experience. Our aim has been to maintain the intuitive, user-friendly and aesthetically appealing features that Scarabee Aviation Group has become known for, while anticipating the future needs of DEN’s passengers and TSA officers.”
TSA has deployed more than 140 Automated Screening Lanes in the United States to improve security and address key operational challenges. The Scarabee ASLs installed at DEN have been assessed and approved by TSA for deployment with airport and airline carrier partners.
