Osaka, Japan – April 2025 – Daifuku Co., Ltd. today announced that it has acquired the remaining 15% of shares in Scarabee Aviation Group, making it the sole shareholder. The acquisition finalizes the process that began in 2019 when Daifuku first acquired a majority interest in Scarabee.
Scarabee Aviation Group specializes in security lanes, baggage handling, and automation solutions for airports. As part of the Daifuku Group, Scarabee has expanded its activities in Europe and contributed to Daifuku’s broader airport business. Full ownership simplifies decision-making and strengthens Scarabee’s role within Daifuku’s global airport business.
