In mid-October, Scarabee successfully reached the next milestone in a major project at Munich Airport – the introduction of the next two Smart Security Lanes with integrated Smiths Detection CTiX technology in Terminal 2. The project was the 5th of a total of 6 construction phases in the course of the gradual conversion of the central security checkpoint in Terminal 2.
A total of 10 Smart Security Lanes can now be used when departing from Terminal 2. The installation of a further 5 security lanes will follow in the first half of the coming year and mark the completion of the multi-year project.
