As a Product Manager, you are responsible for the complete lifecycle management of our products, from concept to end-of-life. You define product requirements, conduct market and competitive research, and prioritize features to ensure our products meet market and customer needs. You are part of the Product Management team, and together with your fellow Product Managers and Product Owners, you guide the product teams in terms of content.
Your responsibilities:
- Product Development: Manage the full product cycle, from concept to launch, and draft product requirements based on market research and customer needs.
- Market Analysis: Conduct competitive research and identify emerging trends to drive innovative product solutions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales to translate customer needs into effective hardware solutions.
- Agility and Innovation: Respond flexibly to changes and encourage new ideas and perspectives within the team.
- Product Strategy: Develop and implement a hardware product strategy that aligns with company objectives and market needs.
- Technical Support: Serve as the primary technical contact for global customers and support the sales and solutions engineering team.
- Backlog Management: Prepare epics, stories, and bugs for the engineering team, and maintain a prioritized list that balances business goals and technical feasibility.
- Vision and Roadmap: Define and communicate a clear product vision and an outcome-based roadmap focused on delivering measurable business results.
- Feedback and Improvement: Gather customer feedback and identify opportunities for product improvement.
Tasks:
- Collaborate with Sales and Product Management on market research, future features, and functionalities to meet new market demands and requirements.
- Work with Solution Architects to define the solution and create cost estimates.
- Create technical and functional roadmaps, along with release planning, sprint goals, and deliver both technical and business functionality across multiple development projects.
- Manage project conflicts, challenges, and dynamic business requirements to meet expected deliverables.
- Communicate with management and stakeholders about sprint and project milestones, etc.
- Be capable of conducting post-mortem and root cause analysis with teams, along with retrospectives to improve the development process.
- Collaborate with test engineers to build complex test scenarios for system validation as part of the approval process for release management.
What you bring:
- You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (HBO or WO).
- Experience managing the full product cycle, preferably in hardware.
- Strong analytical skills for market and competitive research.
