Scarabee develops and delivers innovative systems, such as security filters, passenger flow systems, and baggage handling systems, for leading airports around the world.
As a Logistics Employee, you are responsible for managing the flow of goods from receipt to delivery. You ensure that all materials are available at the right time and in the right place, so our projects run smoothly. We are looking for a precise and proactive colleague to strengthen our logistics team at our headquarters in Hoofddorp.
Working hours:
- You will work weekdays during regular office hours (no weekend shifts).
Your responsibilities:
- Ensuring the smooth handling of both incoming and outgoing goods
- Maintaining inventory and performing stock counts, including processing this data in our ERP system
- Shipping and issuing goods based on work orders
- Regularly using a forklift to move goods
- Occasionally delivering goods to customers or colleagues at Schiphol using the company vehicle (driver’s license B required).
Tasks:
- Checking and accepting incoming and outgoing goods, performing additional inspections when necessary
- Storing and registering goods in racks and storage areas
- Moving, loading, and unloading goods using a forklift, hoisting tools, and pallet trucks
- Occasionally delivering goods
- Coordinating and monitoring international transport
- Counting, labeling, and configuring goods
- Handling administrative tasks in the ERP system.
Who are you?
- You have completed an MBO level 4 education in logistics or a related field
- You hold a forklift certificate or are willing to obtain one shortly after starting
- You have at least 2 years of experience in a similar logistics role
- You are proficient in MS Office
- You have a good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written
- You hold a valid driver’s license B
- A good command of English is a strong advantage
- Experience with ERP systems (preferably Exact Globe) is a plus
- You are proactive, quality-oriented, and detail-focused
- You are a motivated team player who tackles challenges head-on and solves them efficiently.
